Smartcell Sensitive® is a brand new fabric innovation with two years of development. We source these high-tech Zinc infused fibers from Smartfiber®, a German-based research firm. To manufacture Zinc fibers, Smartfiber® uses a patented Lyocell process to spin Zinc into textile fibers. Using this process means the Zinc will remain active at all times, even after 60+ washes.

The Zinc that has been integrated into the fibers acts directly on the skin. Rigorous testing at Hohenstein Institute in Germany confirmed the transfer of Zinc from the fabric to the skin. Testing in accordance with AATCC 100 showed strong antibacterial activity.

The fiber is environmentally friendly, eco-friendly and biodegradable. It is certified (for baby products) Oeko-Tex ® Standard 100, class 1.
